Careers in construction

After completing your apprenticeship, you can start your career in construction. You have two options: on the one hand, you can attend an accredited advanced training course to become a chargehead, an assistant foreman or a foreman. On the other hand, you can train as a master craftsman. Once you are a master craftsman you can found your own enterprise or go on to study engineering at a technical college.

Apart from traditional jobs, you can take on new challenges in other business areas such as restoration, consulting on thermal insulation, environmental protection or even in developmental aid. Architectural draftsmen and clerks are also in demand.
